A thousands of words to say, but only few i can lay. Things you want but you don’t have, are the things you are dreaming of. You may be stuck, but there are friends to help you move on, and these friends will help you to pursue your dreams.

Really, the time is so fast, yet the time is gold. The time not only becomes gold because it should not be wasted, it also becomes precious because of its speed. We are just a kid lately but now we became a senior high school student, then later we do not realize that we are old already. We do not realize that every moment, every seconds passes by we are moving to the next chapter of our lives.

Lets go back to being a SHS student. Taking up a STEM is hard. There are tons of activities to be done, to be submitted immediately, and many more.Furthermore, that our first subject starts at 6:00 in the morning. But these things are the ones who makes us more creative, the ones who push us to break or limits, and thanks to the friends that are always by your side, helping you to reach for your dreams.

I can say that being/taking the STEM strand is not easy. But I believe that this chapter or being a STEM student will help me move on to the next chapter of my life, where I can pursue to reach my dreams.

IMG_5936As I enter the field of Senior High School,i felt that a new journey and a new life begins. Being a Senior High Student is not easy for me, because I know that main thing that defines a student is if they struggle in their class or school. I am always always waiting until the last minute to do my assignments that causes me to rush for it and come up short for my potential. For me,being a student means, having the ability to overcome every obstacles that I am encountering right now. I am always seeking the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that comes from the Lord, so that in every task that i will do, it will be light ,simple, and effortless. I am strongly believing that if I can overcome these hardships then I will be a dominant student, I will pursue my own Dreams and Goals in life, and might as well become a professional in the near future.

My first encounter with Stem was truly unexpected, it was sudden calling which I didn’t expect, I was full of what if’s and tons of questions and doubts were on my mind. They say my strand was the hardest one among others but I was able to love it and embrace the difficulties of it.

Lately, I’m afraid to start the new chapter of my life, but as time goes by, I learned to be ready to face failures, disappointments and problems as a senior high student. Studying Senior high school takes courage to embrace this solely arduous challenge. I take numerous adjustments and changes in my daily habit. Yet, I learned to socialize and became more comfortable. Being a Stem student is quite challenging, there are subjects that defines difficulty like precalculus and biology.

I know my senior high school journey was never been a facile dream reality and now I experienced multiple disappointments. There were times i questioned myself and ability , I felt like “oh this is not where I really belong” and there were moments I’d like to give up and of course just like any other students story there were times I want my world to stop for a moment just to breathe and rest from stress, pressure and countless adversities. I may not be skillful, I may not be the best but I believe it’s not all about the skills and knowledge that counts when you’re a student , it’s the attitude and dedication that matters too because when you learned to love what what your’e doing, success will eventually follow.

Time flies really fast. I can’t believe that I already finished the second chapter of my life which is my junior high school life. I can say that I will miss that chapter because I believe that, that chapter is not replaceable. Even if that’s the case, I will not forget those days and I will treasure it because I learned a lot during that chapter of my life. Now, I’m entering another chapter of my life. Senior high here I come!

Senior high, senior high, senior high. June 4,2018 is my first day as a senior high school student at Cauayan City National High School. During my first day, I felt mixed emotions. I felt excited because I know that I will meet new friends, I will discover new things and I will explore another environment. I also felt nervous because I still don’t have friends, the environment is new and I see new faces. But despite all my apprehensions, it was overridden by my excitement. As I entered the classroom, I saw shy smiles. We introduced ourselves so that we will get to know each other. My first buddy is the one who was seated beside me. As days went by, I’m slowly getting along with my classmates because they were friendly too and they are easy to get along with and gradually we became friends. Now, I am friends with all. The apprehensions I felt the first time I set foot in the school premises had vanished and now I am enjoying the company of my classmates despite our hectic schedules and numerous projects and outputs. I took up STEM strand because I plan to take a course in line with medicine. At first, I could hardly cope with my subjects that’s kind of hard and stressful. But as days went by, I’m starting to getting used to it. It helps having approachable teachers.

I can say taking up STEM strand is not an easy path but I have to have patience because it will spell my future. Hence, my senior high school journey continues.

“If you take things positively you will gain positive result”
The first time i step on my new school i feel afraid up to the interview and examination of being one of those students who will take STEM . I was afraid that time , nervous as wel. But i have dreams . I continue my journey until one day, the final day come and luckily i read my name on those list. In the first day of school again i was afraid back then. Afraid that i can’t have friend or someone to talk too. But then I’m lucky again on having a friendly classmate on my section. I was afraid on raising my right hand to recite. I was afraid that my knowledge is not enough to satisfied everybody. But then again I believe in my self so i didn’t give up. I instill in my self that i can do it and i have the confidence to take every challenges that may come to me as a person and as a senior high student. I continue my journey and i found circle of friends. I cope up with the flow of our lessons and i fight my fear to raise my hand.
Don’t think that being a senior highschool is a burden but then you will gain so many experiences that can help you to face the true essence of living. It can help you to confront the fear in socializing and having a new atmosphere. You will struggle but then all of those challenges are worth it when you realize the importance of every activity that you will do. You must not be afraid to take the journey of being a Senior High School student . It’s not only the knowledge but it’s also the experience.

Senior High School (SHS) is a program of K-12 that add 2 years in High School, namely Grade 11 and 12. Its purpose is to help students to enhance more their quality of knowledge and skills to become prepared for upcoming tertiary level.

As I graduate in Junior High School (JHS), I start my Senior High School journey. I am currently studying at Cauayan City National High School (CCNHS), enrolling the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Academic Strand.

Senior High School is another new journey for me. I’ve met new friends, new classmates, new teachers, and new face. This program helps me to figure my own self, develop my skills, and can understand deeper learnings compared when I am in Junior High School.

I could say that being a Senior High student is quite stressing. Waking up early like 4:00/4:30 in the morning is another new challenge for me. Having many requirements and passed it at the same time is not new to me when I am in Junior High School but being a Senior High student is a challenge for me ’cause there’s just a short period of time to rush it. Despite all the challenges that I faced, Senior High School become so important to my life.

Senior High School showed me how education is very important to students life that’s why I am trying my best to study hard and to strive more to become ready for upcoming tertiary level and to reach my goals. It helps me on how to face all the problems that come in my way.

Maybe if there is no Senior High School, many students are not ready to go to college because they didn’t take education seriously when they are in Junior High School just like me
that’s why I am very thankful that this program has been enacted.
